Introducing the ICOM CPD School – Launching 2025

ICOM is excited to announce the launch of our new Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Programme, commencing in 2025. This new initiative has been developed in direct response to feedback from our graduates and the wider manual therapy community.

Many practitioners expressed a desire for:

• A diverse and practical CPD programme to help fulfil annual CPD requirements
• Opportunities to stay current with evolving techniques and ideas in the field of manual therapy.

We also recognised the growing need among manual therapists for hands-on learning to refresh, update, and refine practical clinical skills in a professional environment.

A Flexible, Clinician-Led CPD Programme

To meet this demand, ICOM has created a dynamic and varied CPD calendar delivered by highly experienced educators – all of whom are both seasoned lecturers and active full-time clinicians.

The CPD School will run across two academic terms:

• Term 1: November 2025 – April 2026
• Term 2: May 2026 – August 2026

This structure allows practitioners to plan their attendance well in advance, with options to attend on:

• Fridays: 9:30am – 5:00pm
• Weekends: Saturdays and Sundays, 9:30am – 5:00pm

This flexible format ensures minimal disruption to clinical practice and offers convenience for working professionals.

Pay-As-You-Go & Member Discounts

All CPD events are pay-as-you-go, allowing participants to manage costs with ease.
ICOM and OCI-registered members receive discounted rates, and each full day of attendance qualifies for 7 hours of CPD. All certified by The Irish College of Osteopathic Medicine.

First-Class Facilities in Cork

Courses will be delivered at ICOM Cork, a purpose-built facility featuring:

• Dedicated lecture suites
• Fully electric treatment beds
• Professional presentation equipment
• Printed course notes for all attendees

Our learning environment is designed to reflect the high standards of safety, professionalism, and practical relevance that underpin all ICOM programmes.
